six flags is going to be awesome this weekend! ive never played there, infact i havent even been there in over a year i guess. its pretty fun for a while, but it can get old when its 100 degrees and you find yourself waiting in line for an hour for each ride. we’re getting in free so we are going to take advantage of it! ha. we are playing on the Gotham City stage. Its going to be a blast!
ive been a total bum lately. its weird. ive been watching TV shows about life on mars and the bermuda triangle. is this just me? probably so. im a nerd, but its cool!
thats all i really have to write about. lame i know.
Last night was super fun show. It was the first time i have ever played at the Hard Rock Cafe. It was a pretty cool place. Thanks to all my friends who came out, and thanks to all the kids i didnt know who came too. You guys are the reason it was fun!
Next week is 6 Flags. Thats gonna be a blast. We get in the park all day for free, then we get to play a show that night. If you can come… you should! ha.
i enjoyed that. I dont dig that much country music, but that man deserves your respect.
in other news, there are a few things i have to do this summer:
1) Get better at guitar. Maybe even play like that some day. (Kermit, not Brad. haha)
2) I have to read more. I have to learn stuff. I need to understand why I believe what I believe in a theological aspect, and a good way to do that is to read, and read a lot. Sometimes i think my attention span is too short to sit and read a bunch at one time. I cant even sit through a 2 hour movie.
I guess that concludes my list. Its a short list, but its a lot to do. I have some free time now that its summer, so its a great time to work on both of these. I will write more about these as i progress.

So the show was a ton of fun. It was a good first show back after recording our little EP. The best part was, it was a birthday party, so we got all the chik-fil-a nuggets, pizza, and ice cream cake you could ever want. It was a fun way to start off the summer as far as music goes. Just look at my face….

We have some pretty big shows coming up, plus tour. Its going to be a blast. I think we have some video clips from this past show. Ill put it up soon.
so i got back from fishing yesterday and it was awesome. i dont know a whole lot about fishing, but it was fun hanging out with my home town crew as well as some new friends. i was introduced to a new form of fishing, much different than the traditional rod and reel. its called seining. i guess a lot of people know what this is, but if you dont, its when 2 people drag a long net across the bottom of the water. its always a surprise to see what you may pull up. we mainly got shrimp and a bunch of crabs. we also caught other fish that i dont really know about. but it was fun, except for my ridiculous sunburn.
tomorrow we play our first show in over 2 months. its going to be a blast. the recordings should be done soon too. its going to be a good few weeks!
im going to the beach tomorrow with some friends. we arent just going to get sun and stuff… we have a mission. we are going to catch sea creatures and eat them. this includes shrimp, crabs, fish and whatever else we find. maybe even a blue whale or a giraffe.
so i found out my grades were a lot better than i expected. i feel so much better knowing i made B’s where i was expecting to make C’s. ha. im not very studious.
yesterday i played guitar a Summit Church with some friends. it was a blast. phil (the famous guy from Last Year Portrait) did an awesome job leading worship and it was fun rocking out with him and the rest of the band. im looking forward to playing there more!
